2. Ours, we had a friend from school and her family over.
3. I'm going to try to go to Petsmart and Khol's to pick up some specific stuff. Not going to go crazy.
4. Yes, Christmas decorations will be up today or tomorrow.

My green bean casserol, is was so yummy! (thanks to the pioneer woman!!)

The inlaws, it was our last year- we are starting our own traditions next year
so excited!

Nope, I drove by the mall andit was crazy!!
4. Will you decorate for Christmas/Hanukkah this weekend?
Nope. Im still hoping we will be in the mist of moving into our condo around christmas

I dont know that I have one anymore. This is the second year my grandma has been gone-and its not the same. Perhaps its the cooking-planning the menu, trying new recipes.
2. Who's house did you have dinner at? My Mom and Dad's
3. Did/do you plan on going shopping at all (if so where)? I didn't plan on going today, but now I'm waiting for my parents to pick me up. I've never gone on Black Friday. Should be interesting!
4. Will you decorate for Christmas/Hanukkah this weekend? I'd like to start. I'm trying to figure out when will work best.
5. What's your favorite part of the Holidays (and you can only pick one)? I love that it's the time of the year to be thankful for everyone in your life and the time spent reflecting on the past year. Oops, maybe that's two things.

a: I made mint fudge and green bean casserole
(both were a hit!)(and both were my first time making it)

a: the in-laws
3. Did/do you plan on going shopping at all (if so where)?
a: the husband went to Home Depot at 6am, surprised me with a christmas tree
and he went to get a drill set for himself, but ended up getting one for his dad

a: i would LOVE to right now, but we won't have any ornaments until next pay day
so my boxed tree is just sitting there teasing me.

a: leftovers

My parents'. I went solo this year because H has the flu. But I brought him leftovers=)

I decorated a couple of weeks ago. I couldn't wait!

Snuggling on the couch with H and the dogs watching a movie with the Christmas lights on.

3. Did/do you plan on going shopping at all (if so where)? No shopping..after working in retail I will never shop on Black Friday.

1) My mom's stuffing (that she makes veg for me) and her homemade veg gravy. It's the one time of year I get a little spoiled with veg 'homey' food.

4) No. I'm hosting a shower next weekend and I don't want the christmas deco up for it. So, no christmas at our house (bar music) until after the shower.

2. Who's house did you have dinner at? my house, but my mom cooked. Lucky, huh?!
3. Did/do you plan on going shopping at all (if so where)? I think when Charlie wakes up from his nap, we'll go to Target. We live in a small town and last year the store wasn't too crazy. I will be avoiding the malls.

5. What's your favorite part of the Holidays (and you can only pick one)? Gosh, 1? I think my favorite is just walking around and seeing all the Christmas decoration and music either at people's homes, the mall, etc. It really gets me in the holiday spirit.
2. Who's house did you have dinner at? ... Ours. It was only Dh and me.
3. Did/do you plan on going shopping at all (if so where)? ... We'll be doing some groceries and going to a couple of stores.

No. We close on our house next week. So this weekend will be full of packing!

Spending time with family. (not all related by blood but still family for sure)

5. What's your favorite part of the Holidays (and you can only pick one)? The excitement from my kids. They totally believe in Santa so it's fun to see it through their eyes. Also, time with family. This is our first Holiday Season we've had since DH's dad passed...we've actually had a few losses so we are appreciating the family that is here with us.

2. Who's house did you have dinner at? We had two meals - deep fried turkey (traditional sides) for lunch at our house and then a prime rib dinner at my dad's
3. Did/do you plan on going shopping at all (if so where)? oh yeah! We had a plan of attack. We ended up going to Kohls, Kmart, Michaels, Joanns, Target, Sears, Macy's, JcPenney, Walmart, Radio Shack
