I was going to specify for pet owners only, but I'd like input from everyone.
I'm planning on getting photo cards this year for our Christmas cards. We adopted 2 cats earlier this year and I want to take a picture of us with them for our card this year. I know people will often include their dogs in pictures, but do people put their cats in pictures? Do we include their names? I feel like including their names might be silly, but they are our furbabies now!
Also, if you use photo cards, what company do you recommend? I'm looking at Shutterfly right now.
Thanks!
Re: Christmas Card Question
Tea Time for Lulu
I would put their names on the card but thats just me.
I personally think all the sites are the same, kodak, shutterfly, snapfish, etc. I figure out what site to use based on $$.
In the past I've used Costco to print the cards ($15 for the first 50 but I think there is a coupon out there right now making it $10 for 50, then $5 for each additional 25) and bought/made a template to have printed (like from Swish Designs on Etsy). Costco comes with envelopes that are really nice.
This year I'm using Shutterfly because of the 50 free cards code I got. Otherwise they're too pricey for me at $1+each.
I think we'll be doing this idea. We attempted to take a "family" picture last night, but it was pretty hopeless. We tried to bribe the cats with treats and catnip. And then my husband didn't like the idea of us holding them. He wanted them just laying in front of us. I have no idea how he thought was going to work. So instead I just took a pictures of each of them under the tree (their new favorite spot since the tree skirt is so soft) and will use those pictures. We'll just use a picture of us from France.
