AW: Thanksgiving pics

Hi everyone! How were your Thanksgivings? We had a nice day at MIL's with my mom there too. Ayden had some turkey, sweet potatoes, green beans, and mashed potatoes. He enjoyed his meal. Here are couple pics.

Today I'm making some peanut butter chocolate chip banana bread.

What is everyone else up to? Anyone out and about shopping?

Hawki-thanks for the sweet potato recipe, it was a huge hit!

  • Ayden is such a little man!! I think the hair is throwing me off, because he looks so much older than 6 months!! He's so cute!

Our Thanksgiving was okay. Ate myself silly at MIL's and then came home and spent an hour assembling the tree. I didn't even get a nap in! I'll try to get a good tree pic later once I finish it.

Went shopping a little today around noon, but didn't get much. The crows were still insane!

  • No shopping for us - we were instead facing the insanity at the airports! We just arrived home yesterday after spending Thanksgiving in Montana with MIL/SFIL and SIL/her BF.

I'm actually heavily leaning towards doing all homemade gifts this year (save for maybe the cousins under age 6), so I probably won't be out shopping at all unless it's for supplies to bake/make things!

Thanksgiving was really lovely. We had a delicious meal! And it was my first time celebrating Thanksgiving with under 20 people, so it was a unique experience having just six of us sitting around one table together.
