I'm bored sitting at my MIL house so I've been parusing online...and finally was checking out Craigs List.
Found this dining room set for $200. Looks pretty good to me. It looks like I can re-upholster the chair seats easy enough and it looks in good condition. We currently have no formal dining room table and when we have more than
2 guests over to eat we have to sit on the couch, some outside on our lawn
chairs and what not.
Thoughts??

You've heard what I've done, not what I've been through.

Go for it!
I'm with you on needing a dining set. We had 3 people over yesterday and had to sit around a card table because the two "real tables" we have only seat 2 people each. I'm always scoping out the furniture when we go to thrift stores, etc., but haven't found one that Matt likes enough to buy yet.
The table itself looks pretty similar to the one that is on my Christmas wish list (it's the ONLY thing on my wish list, I am desperate for a proper dining room table). So I'd say go for it!
PLUS it also comes with the swanky plate decoration and bowl with balls. bahaha
For real though, we paid $175 for our dinette set (kitchen table and chairs) and I was sooooo pumped at what a good deal that was! You can't get much in the way of furniture for $200, and as long as it is solid, it looks like a pretty classic shape. You can always throw a table cloth over it too, so it's a win win!
