    Then why are you reading/commenting on this article. There are over 6 billion people on earth and a whole lot of them won't buy a Kindle 2, who cares if you won't buy one too?

    And I first I thought you meant two Kindles for $89!  Now THAT would be a good deal.

    Excellent.  I'm thinking Kindles for my parents.  They are better off with 3G than wi-fi and I don't think they'll care that it isn't the latest gen.  Sweet.

    I'm pretty sure it's pronounced your mom's a moron and if you didn't have your name legally changed by the age of 22, so are you. Unless you're from another continent. -Groomz

    Cali is going to hate me but when I went back to browse on Amazon, I managed to snag one. Apparently I was on the waitlist and people didn't check out in time. I'm glad I didn't totally ignore the little pop up window.

    Now the question is which case should I buy?

    I didn't get a super cheap Kindle, but I did get an "on sale" Kindle.  And I'm pretty excited about it.  Like, a lot alot. 

    This is the Christmas I get all of my presents a month early.  MERRY CHRISTMAS TO MEEEE!!!

    I didn't get a super cheap kindle either. Now, I'm wishing I had hung around to see if the waitlist thing worked. I was on it but figured nobody in their right mind was going to not purchase it.

    I did get an on sale flip though, so I'm pumped about that.

    I failed at cheap kindle day too and never got the option to click the waitlist button.  Booooo.

    I think I will end up getting the new one though.  Bait and switch successful!
