mommas and snap n go's (BR)

Do/did you love yours? Tell me the pros and cons? I want something smaller to start off with, we're looking at starting with a snap n go, or the  baby jogger city mini. I heard the snap n go can be a bit difficult to handle with weight on it, and that the city mini has some difficulties attaching the carseat properly until you get the hang of it.

Obviously we'll be taking them for a "test drive" before/when we start our registry. But I just wanted you opinions on the snap n go, since I know at least a few of you have used one.

My overly happy baby girl!

  • I loved it - can't really think of a con. Traded it in for a regular one during BRU trade in event once we were done. Its light and small and easy.

  • We were all ready to get one until my BIL/SIL got us a BOB. I tested it out with our car seat at BRU and loved it.

  • i have a regular stroller as well but i absolutely LOVE my snap & go.  wouldn't trade it for the world.  it's super easy to open/close, lightweight, and perfect for when the baby is asleep so you don't have to transport in & out.  i also refuse to lug the carseat around b/c it's heavy as a mofo so it's perfect for running in and out of places.  also, z loves to take naps in her carseat so we usually just bring the snap & go inside and push her back and forth.  we tend to get 2 hr naps from her this way rather than anywhere else.  i actually got mine off of craigslist for 1/2 the price.  if i would have paid triple the price it still would have been worth it to me.

my mom has zoey while i'm at work and this is the one thing that she REQUIRES me to leave with her at all times! i'd say it's a must have!

oh and i have never heard about it having difficulty with weight on it.  i mean it's meant to have weight on it.  it locks in the front where the car seat locks into the base and it also has these clip lock things that you turn to lock it in.  i take it to the mall all the time and hang bags, my purse, my diaper bag, etc.. off of my mommy clip on it and i never seem to have any weight issue (and i even have a BIG baby!).

No problem, just let me know. We'll be out of town this Saturday but that's pretty much it. I'm off every Friday in the month of December. We're also both off the last week of Dec. so we'll be around.?

  • I have no complaints with my snap n go. We recently retired it when we bought a jogging stroller. You can't jog w/ an infant under 6-9 months anyway, so we didn't bother buying it until he was older and we could better gauge whether we'd use it.

My sister picked it up for me at a consignment sale for $15, so I *really* have no complaints about it!
