So, what was the best deal you snagged on Black Friday?

I got a winter coat for $27 (an off brand like Columbia) but it was at Marshalls and didn?t appear to be on any special besides that they only had few of them available.  However, I then went to Macy?s and got a real Columbia coat so I guess the Marshals one was a waist.

I got a potato clock (runs off potatoes not batteries) for $7.  It was for a game we play at Christmas, but I really want to play with it now!

  • I don't go out and do the whole black friday shopping thing, BUT I did need a ladder today so I ran over to home depot and got one that was originally 70 for 52. Not a huge deal but at least it is something, and now I have a ladder for the rest of forever!!!! Big Smile

  • I bought a black friday photography package for DD's 1 year photos.  It will save me about $500 from her regular prices.

  • I was able to get a Thomas train set for $2.50 normally $25  (it was 50% off plus I had a $10 off coupon) I think that was my best deal

  • I had to stop at the mall at 8:00 last night and my best deal was at Bath and Body Works.  I got 3 lotions, 3 shower gels, a room scented oil, the pads to go with it, and the "cuddlebug" that heats it, a wall flower refill, a snowman wall flower, a Christmas snowman soap and 3 travel sized hand lotions for $36.48.  I had coupons galore and they had some NICE sales!
  • We got some good deals at Gymboree.  $15 dollar sweaters plus I had an additional 20% off, which makes non-clearance sweaters $12/each - a great deal for Gymbo!
  • Our best deal was probably getting seasons 1-3 on BluRay of Mad Men for $10 each at Best Buy. They were $45 each at Target.
  • We weren't planning on going out, but we stopped at Target to buy me some new socks (yeah, socks... and I picked yesterday to need them.) and ended up spending way more... on a few gifts and other things on sale.
  • I got a new MacBook Pro for 10% off, a free HP Photosmart printer, and a 2TB external hard drive to back it all up. It was a good day for the techno-geek :)

Sounds like us! We also picked up a MacBook Pro from Best Buy. With the gift cards we got at Christmas, their offers and an educational discount, it ended up being a pretty sweet deal!
