Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Poor Jay, he just doesn't get it...
I was on the nest last night and said something about my Nestie friends. Jay says "they are not your friends, you have never even seen these people". I tried to explain to him that I have been talking to you guys for at least 8 months, we have shared a very emotional event with each other, therefore I consider you my friends. His response "If Jennifer walked up to you on the street and said, HI, you wouldn't even know who she was, there is a Jennifer right?" I rolled my eyes and told him he would never understand, LOL!

Haha, see this is why we all get along! Kevin doesn't get it either. The fact that I want to send 20 Christmas cards to you girls is just beyond reason to him. "But you've never even met these people" he says haha.
Yet, when he cooked me banana pancakes and left them for me a few weeks ago before he went to work - later in the day he goes "so did you tell your nesties about what i did?" Haha, like he wanted recognition.
Matt gets it, but then, he used to have a ton of internet friends, himself.
Mrs.Goontz, I love that your HH was hoping that you bragged to us about him, even if we aren't real.
Mrs Goontz - That is just adorable.
And my DH doesn't care. I'm strange in general so he's used to it.
Kevin doesn't seem to think it's that weird. He laughs at me a little bit but I tell him stories using everyone's actual name like we were all right there when it actually happened.
He just keeps his mouth shut I suppose because he knows whats good for him! HAHAHA!
See Kevin is always on geek forums. AndroidCentral, Gizmodo, Boy Genius Report, SplashPage (not toooooo geeky) and I'm sure there are a few more, I just don't know what they are.

my Jay gets it, but then again he has his own car chat boards he is on and they have GTG's too!
THIS! Matt does a great job of listening when I share, and he never rolls his eyes (that I know of). And since I came back from meeting Pam & Bernie in Vegas, it's even more real now, so he completely gets it.
And there are two of us "Jennifer's" that post out here regularaly, so if you were talking about me, I am flattered! If not, then I'm completely mortified at my narcissism, but I'll survive.
I talk to Dave about my "Nest Friends" all the time! I feel like even HE knows you guys a little bit. Or if I am sitting at my computer and I laugh at something, he'll say "Who is being funny now?"
He also asks me all the time if I've posted anything about him recently...I may or may not have told him that some of you girls think he's cute
