I've been missing you guys today!

Really this whole weekend has been slow.  But today I've refreshed the page a zillion times and there's not a peep.  What's doin'?

I've been making these bunnies for the nephews for Chanukah/Christmas.

And then today, Eric and I built these shelves in our basement to house a bunch our Reef Botanicals supplies & stock.

What have you guys been up to since Thanksgiving?

Re: I've been missing you guys today!

  • I feel like I haven't been home at all since Thursday afternoon.  I am sooooo tired.

We saw four movies:  Harry Potter, Love and Other Drugs, Morning Glory, and Burlesque.  All were good.

Lots of time spent with friends.  Not a lot of shopping done.  I really have no idea where my long weekend went.  I feel like I was robbed and I can't believe it's already Sunday night.

    And I dig the bunnies!

  • Those bunnies are supercute!

I've been in and out today. I'm designing our Christmas cards and working on some blog posts.

  • I've been putting up our Christmas decorations and resting. Actually I'd say most of this weekend has been spent on the couch. What an exciting life I lead!

Love the bunnies, they are super cute.

  • Thanks, peeps!

Thanks to a suggestion from E, I'll be making 4 bunnies (I'm keeping that green one I posted for myself; it was my first and I want it) and 3 monkeys or bears (I need to decide).  I'll take a photo when I'm done with all of 'em.  Two critters for each nephew, and two for E's best friend's kid who's due in January.

Then I have to start in on my nephew's birthday crown (it's a Where the Wild Things Are party, so I'm doing a yellow/gold crown for him as a birthday hat) and some more stuffed animals for his birthday presents.

    I'm loving this sewing thing!

  • The bunnies are super cute. I was out all day today, we had thanksgiving with the inlaws today, and we had roast beef.
  • I've been doing the one thing I can't stay away from.  Grad school work.

I'm in the homestretch for the semester.  I am down to 1 assignment in each class and a final in each class.  I take my last final on the 11th.  However, the first final is this Saturday and I'm terrified.  I have to make a B in the final to move on to the 2nd practicum and graduate in May.  It's not because my grades are low but because that is the criteria the college set for us (it has something to do with the fact we are the only program in the nation who will be receiving national certifications when graduate).

I'm taking tomorrow off to go up to the college (1 hour away) to use the computer scoring program and finish up my last assignment for that class.  I want it to be done on Saturday so I can soak in my misery if I don't make a B on the final.  I have yet to make a B on her tests!!!  I still somehow have a B average though, yay!

  • We went out on Saturday night with my girlfriends to a really gross dive bar - it was a lot of fun.

Greg is off today, our first doctor's appointment is at 11:20. I'm starting to get nervous.

  • Friday we went to my Parents house for dinner and a movie. We watched 'unstoppable' starring Denzel Washington, and it was awesome!

Saturday: we stayed home and relaxed! It was lovely.

Sunday: church and had dinner at my parents house.

overall, it was a great, long, and relaxing weekend!

Larissa: love the bunnies! Rachel: looking forward to the posts!!

  • Those bunnies are SO stinkin' cute. I love them!

The weekend was pretty low key for us. Went to the Usher/Trey Songz concert on Wednesday [that was freaking amazing], ate all day Thursday, hung out Friday and Saturday with my best friend, and slept most of yesterday. We also took Christmas pictures on Saturday with our photographers and are getting Christmas cards made through them, so that takes care of that. I was hoping to get back to Stillwater early enough to get some Christmas stuff up, but that didn't happen.

I caved and gave JJ one of his birthday presents early yesterday - he just looked so bored playing with the toys we got him a year ago that I opened a new one and let him have it. I can't wait for him to open the rest of the stuff this weekend - can't believe he's almost 2. Oi.

  • L- great job on the bunnies!

I've been around most of the weekend. Honestly, I didn't do a whole lot this weekend.

Back at work, trying to find my motivation.

Marcy- good luck at your appt!!

  • Ohhhhh, I wish I could see the bunnies... Sad me...

  • Bonnie, why can't you see the bunnies?

Glad everyone had cool weekends.  We got a ton done, but it still felt oddly lounge-like.
