Northern California Nesties
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
Can you guys recommend any good children's books for a couple of almost-6-yo girls? Both to read with their parents and maybe something they can start trying to read on their own/encourage their literacy skills? Thanks!
Re: Moms/K teachers come in!
Here's a list of books for 5-6 yr olds from a library site. And Easy Reader or Beginning Reader labeled books are for that age, too.

I asked my 7 year old DD and she said Ivy + Bean and Toys Go Out (I have never heard of this book...she said it's from her classroom) and I asked my 5 1/2 year old DS and he said Pickles to Pittsburgh and The Biggest Christmas Tree Ever.
