I had such a lazy day yesterday. It was a day of minimal effort. I only did as much as absolutely necessary.
Derek and I hung out in bed reading our books from about 7pm until sleeptime. That was awesome.
This morning was extra wicked, since they've finally opened the carpool lane on my commute. Thank goodness I carpool, because it was totally wicked. Hopefully this means the end of hour long commutes each way for me!
How was everyone's weekend?

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Re: Good Morning!
raynes your lazy sunday was my lazy friday/saturday/sunday.... there is a dent in the couch cusion from where I refused to move my ass.... but, it was super nice to just lounge around and nap on and off with nothing to do.
We didn't put up the tree on Friday, I was just too exhausted from thanksgiving... now I'm comtemplating skipping the tree all together. I'm the one who puts it up and takes it down and right now since its not like we are having anyone over to see it, it just seems like too much of a chore. I might put out some other decorations, but still undecided on the tree. P wants to screw the lights outside too (since we need to buy more) but I really want to do those and will try my hardest to convince him to help me for once.

I was mostly just home. Turns out this throat thing is a pg symptom: pregnancy rhinitis. Who knew! I already had to skip my concert on Sunday... how am I going to explain missing all 3 concerts this season due to pregnancy?
I do feel better so I think I'll hop in to work today, though I wonder if they'll give me the side eye because I still sound ridiculous.

Good morning, ladies! I'm not feeling well today - I think Lee passed on the flu to me. It's cold and snowy anyway, so driving to work wasn't going to be fun. Fortunately I can work from home.
Have a great day, everyone!
Only your child would cause you to lose your voice! The kid is being a trouble maker already.

This weekend was great, but very busy, and having five days off work made it ridiculously hard to get up out of bed and go back to the office this morning.
And, I seems that in the time I've been off work, I've become the clumsiest person on the planet. Since Wednesday, I've burnt myself three time in the kitchen (one steam burn, one touch on the oven rack and one touch on the rim of the sauce pan), cut the back of my right hand with my engagement ring, walked into a walk, walked into the corner of a box (which hurts more than you'd think), spilled half a diet coke down the front of my shirt and this morning's piece de resistance, knocked heads with J so hard it raised a knot.
I need some help before someone gets killed.

Yeah, no kidding!
Well, so I'm home sick again. The boss is out of the office till Wednesday and anyway, no one wants to be near someone who's coughing every 5 mins.

Yikes, that doesn't sound fun. Please watch where you are walking today.
My weekend has been crazy and today will be the same. I was busy all weekend trying to get Christmas decorations up while taking care of the boys. (DH had clinical all day Friday and Saturday) Needless to say, it took me 2 days to get the tree up, and almost finished the rest of the decorations yesterday. Hoping to finish it up tonight.
Today is a busy one at work. It is the end of the month so I really need to have good file counts the next 2 days. So I won't be on much as I really need to stay focused.
Hello Monday. I had a doctors appt this morning, which meant I could sleep in - just the way I like to start my Mondays! Went in for my last pap before TTC, just to make sure all is in order before we start next month. Will have a blood test next week, and then we should be good to go!
Our weekend was pretty good. We hardly left the apartment, but that worked out well as we were super productive. Finally got our Christmas cards done and got the apartment in order for MIL coming to visit on Wednesday.

Good Morning!
We had a good weekend. A lot of house guests until Saturday afternoon so yesterday consisted of sleeping in, lounging and no entertaining! It was lovely.
ETS-Horrible spelling. I'm still sleeping!

Good Morning!
The IL's were in town Tues-Sat. Thursday was Thanksgiving at my mom's. Friday, DH, MIL, and I went to the outlet mall to go shopping. We left the house about 930 a.m. and didn't get home until after 5 p.m. DH and I got our tree on Friday, too. Sat, DH and I did even more shopping and decorated the house. Sun, DH played poker and I did laundry and put together a bench and shelf that we bought.
I should have another busy week at work, b/c I only worked 3 days last week and I'm only working 2 1/2 days next week.
In crappy news, I just got my bill today for a test I had done on my hand to see if I had carpal tunnel and it's $800! I can't wait till January when I get off of my insurance and on to DH's insurance.
This weekend was good, quite relaxing. I just sat around the house most of the weekend....my poor DH was getting things organized and writing research papers all weekend.
Today should be good. I am just taking care of one of my Nanny kids today as the other is off with his dad today. Things should be a tad bit easier.
Good morning! Thursday and Friday were great, Saturday and Sunday not so much--I felt awful and managed to get H sick. So we're both home again today, recovering.
Seriously. I'm afraid I'm going to walk out in front of a taxi.

Good morning ladies!
I'm back at work after the long weekend and I've had a busy morning already. After being here two hours I'm just now checking my voicemail. My boss is back from her vacation and is keeping me super busy. I can't wait to take a week off next month. Hope you all have a great day!
Good Morning Ladies.
Thanksgiving was.. interesting. My dad's GF got drunk and embarrassed herself in front of the whole family. My father-in-law and his girlfriend fought in front of everyone.. it was uncomfortable to say the least.
BSU lost on Friday, and I cried a little. I was looking forward to a possible National Championship game so much.
Yesterday, my team lost to my husbands, so I will never hear the end of that. We both took the day off to hang out and taunt each other, and then I lost
Today, I am back in school. Only 2 weeks left, then finals. I cannot wait to be done with college.
And finally, hopefully decorating and getting the tree up on Wednesday. I love Christmas time:) Hope everyone has an amazing week
I would say good morning but it's almost 6:30 PM here! We had a good weekend. We had a second Thanksgiving on Sat night with some friends which was amazing but we left early so we could catch the last train which was good because plenty of wine had been consumed. Sunday was relaxing in the morning then went to the local Christmas tree lighting. I got all inspired and got out all my decorations except the tree
SushiSamba-I didn't know you guys were going to start TTC, how exciting!! We'll have to get one last drink soon.
It was a great weekend...and actually a pretty good Monday too, seeing it is now 6pm!
Thanksgiving was great...even with Ed's parents spending the night. We played cribbage for awhile and went to bed early.
Friday I decorated the inside of the house and we did the outside lights on Saturday, so the house looks pretty. All we have left is the tree.
Sunday was super lazy...which was great. I pretty much watched holiday movies all day on Hallmark and Lifetime (super sappy). Then we got Chinese food for dinner since my hamburger didn't defrost in time.
And back to school today was good...my kids were actually really good all day and the day flew by. Hopefully every day for the next three and a half weeks before Christmas break go by just as quickly.
