This was my first time going out and I was AMAZED how many people brought their young kids with them! Also how many younger teens (14, 15, 16) who were out by themselves AT MIDNIGHT!
One woman with her 7-8 year old daughter were trying to sneak in as far forward in the line as they could get and ended up right by us. I didn't say anything but kept my eye on them to see what happened. When the big rush towards the door started I saw the woman PUSH HER DAUGHTER forward and told her to "get in there and get to the store first". She literally pushed her kid into a group of 300+ stampeding adults!
Also I saw at least a dozen people with strollers and people holding younger kids (2-3 year olds) wearing PJs in their arms. It really baffles my mind what deals or SO GREAT that people would risk the well being of their children. Seeing someone darting down a hallway with a stroller and then going down the escalator with it seems like child endangerment to me.
This really irks me. I wonder how that Mom would have felt if her daughter had fallen and been trampled on? Is it really worth risking that?
