Maggie likes to sing. So Mike decided to teach her some vocal warm-ups. He sang "mi mi mi mi miiiiii" and told Maggie it was her turn, so she sang back "you you you you youuuuu"
We hung the stockings by the chimney with care this weekend. Maggie hugged hers and proclaimed proudly "Aaw, there's a kangaroo on my stocking!" (it's a reindeer)
Also, an Owen story for good measure. He's babbling dada and mama and shrieked DADA repeatedly through the storm door while watching Mike hang the outdoor lights today. Also, he's figured out how to go from crawling to sitting so he tuckered himself out doing that all weekend long. He'd crawl a few inches, stop, sit up, then repeat. So proud.
Ready to rumble.
Re: Let me regale you with cute Maggiemoments
HA! That Maggie is a clever little girl
Are you feeling better? My dad had a stomach bug early in the week and he was excited that he lost 13 lbs. He was sure to remind everyone of this anytime we (usually the women) said anything at all about the weight we were going to gain from the dozens of pies we were consuming
how did owen get that old? Crawling? nonsense.

So cute! I love Maggie and Owen stories! I'm so impressed that Owen knows who Mama and Dada are already!
Miles says "Mama" and "Dada", but I'm not sure he knows the meaning of the words yet. He does point to things and say either "dis" or "dat".
