Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

My weekend and my new kitchen?
So, this weekend I got the start of my new kitchen... This is what happened: wall came out, base cabinets in, all old cabinets out, countertop in, sink in (but not working - to be working today), new tap in.
Also: went to moonlight madness on Friday with friends, and church Christmas banquet on Saturday.
To happen on the kitchen this week or soon: varnish the edge of the countertops, paint, fix mudding so we can paint, tile (in the next two weeks - there's a gap between the countertop and the wall behind the sink), finish part of the countertop, upper cabinets in (probably not until the weekend).
What needs to happen sometime soon but likely not before Christmas: shelves and drawers and doors on the cabinets (who ever heard of those --- not me in my kitchen right now), desk and cookbook cupboards built (obviously not a priority see other point)....
LOTS OF WORK...
Melting Snow... because it means that spring is actually on the way and it's not snowing or cold.
