Re: How was everybody's weekend?
How was your Thanksgiving(s)? Good! Although I ate way too much all weekend long
What was the best part of your meal(s)? Stuffing and mashed potatoes...YUM
Did you get any great deals shopping this weekend? Not really -- we didn't go out until later on Friday, but I was able to get some cheap DVD's at Target.
Best part of the weekend? Re-connecting with Keith. He came over on Wednesday and stayed the night. He also stayed the night on Friday and Saturday, hung out with my dad and went hunting, and had dinner with me and my parents (I cooked my potato soup for my dad's birthday). Oh, and Brody now walks 9-10 steps in a row!
I thought something good happened based on your FB status :-) Glad you had a good thanksgiving :-)
Both TGs were great this year. We went to my parent's on Thursday. It was relatively quiet with just my parents, my brother + FSIL, and my step-sis + DH + my niece. We had a great dinner and everybody raved about my sweet potato casserole, which made me feel good. My grandparents didn't come, and my aunt and uncle + their two girls weren't there, so there was no craziness and no drama.
Saturday we went to MIL's with Wade's siblings and had another pretty good dinner. Baby Emma was there, so I got to sit and hold her for quite a bit. She's the best baby! We played a game (cadoo?) with the siblings like we do every year, and that always proves to be quite comical. Add in some wine and it's good times!
I think the best part of the meals was being with our families, and the green bean casserole and sweet potato casserole. Love.
I went shopping on Friday 3 times (crazy, I know!) and got some great deals on sweaters, boots, furniture, toys...I wrote a crazy long blog post so it's all in there. We now have ordered all of the furniture for the family room!
The very best part of my weekend came Saturday afternoon. I had decided not to get the Nikon bundle at Best Buy (wasn't worth it to stand in line, we could spend the money on other things, etc.). Wade had gone to visit his dad, and got home right before we were supposed to leave for MIL's. I looked down into the foyer when a big blue bag caught my eye. I ran down there, and the bag was filled with everything from the bundle!! He stopped by BB on his way home, and they gave him the bundle for the BF price! The camera won't be here until tomorrow, but it was still the best surprise. I'm so excited to start taking great pictures!
All-in-all, it was a wonderful long weekend, and I'm sad it's over. We didn't get near enough sleep

How was your Thanksgiving(s)? Good, but very tiring. I made 2 full complete meals (Thursday and Saturday) and worked on painting the basement stairwell on Friday.
What was the best part of your meal(s)? That they got done. My oven broke about 15 minutes before the turkey was going in on Saturday.
Did you get any great deals shopping this weekend? Nope, don't want to think about Christmas at all. Steve has been told he is responsible for everything and anything that has to get done.
Best part of the weekend? My parents leaving this morning. I take that back - there was a really good part last night when I was laying on the floor with a blanket and all three kitties curled up with me and slept while I watched football.

How was your Thanksgiving(s)? It was good, surprisingly I didn't over eat
What was the best part of your meal(s)? Pumpkin Pie! Sharing it with friends was pretty cool too
Did you get any great deals shopping this weekend? Yes! I got a new pea coat from Kohls and I got the Dyson Animal for $150 off!
Best part of the weekend? Driving to Pittsburgh to see my sister and her getting to meet Norah for the first time!
How was your Thanksgiving(s)? Fabulous! It was a great 1st Thanksgiving for Mariela and it was nice we ended up getting to host for the 2nd time at our house.
What was the best part of your meal(s)? Pomegranite glazed turkey that I made thanks to my trusty Food Network magazine and Mariela eating her first meat (pureed turkey I made for her from Trader Joe's).
Did you get any great deals shopping this weekend? Nope, I wasn't that impressed with the sales...at least for items that I was looking for.
Best part of the weekend? My brother flew up from Florida on Thanksgiving day to join us for the holiday and we picked up my Grammie from MA and brought her to CT. On Friday, we all put up our Christmas tree together and took great delight in showing it to Mariela for the first time.
