Re: five_letter

  • Holey smokes what a long morning.

We waited for almost an hour to be seen. It was really frustrating and annoying. When we finally went back, the room I was in was sooooo freaking hot. It was unreal.

Luckily, the doctor was super sweet, I really liked him. There are 3 main doctors at the practice, so I'm sure I'll have a chance to meet them all. They pushed my due date back to July 15th. I'm A-OK with this because I need to fly to Chicago in early May for a convention, so pushing it back ups my odds of going. This convention = $$$

So now the baby isn't due on St. Silas' feast day, but it is due on Harry Potter Deathly Hallows II release date!! A true Potter fan. How the heck am I going to make it to the midnight release party??? Sad

I've put on my allotted first trimester 5lbs already. LOL mainly because I'm so afraid of morning sickness, that I eat for no apparent reason other than to not get sick. Which is bizarre because I have only had ms once.

  • You can definitely go to Harry Potter if the baby takes its time. Smile

We went out to dinner 6 days after my due date. Our waiter was totally freaked out. It was fun.

  • Now we have the same due date! Although I'm pretty sure mine will be moved back a week later, but for now that's pretty cool!

I'm glad you liked your doctor. I've never met mine before so I'm a little nervous about it.

Do you think you'll still go with Silas if it's a boy? I think you should. Close enough.

  • 1st I love the fact that 3 of you are due within weeks of each other.  I find that "cool".

2nd - Seeing those pictures just makes it seem more real.  It's amazing to see that little life forming in there!

3rd - yay for a great appointment and a good doctor!

So far, Silas it is. Haven't heard anything we like more....yet.

I'm super stoked we're all due at the same time. I'm more comfortable bouncing thoughts, ideas and concerns off you ladies than the strangers on TB.

I hadn't met my doctor before today, and he turned out to be  a keeper. You'll be fine!
