Re: 16 inches!!
Sorry, when I first read the title I thought of something else and I was like whoa!
Holy cow! 16" of snow?!?! I guess I shouldn't complain about the frost on my car this morning?
I'm going to cry if we get 16 inches of that white stuff that falls from the sky. One blizzard followed by two back to back blizzards in one winter is more than I can take.
I can't even bring myself to say the s word anymore. Snooooogle. Snoot. Snot. See, my fingers won't even allow me to type it.
Married / The Cookaholic Wife
HAHAHA - this was me too!
I cannot even begin to imagine 16" of snow...yikes! My car definitely wouldn't be able to handle that either (dodge stratus coupe). Good luck my friend, but don't send it my way!!!
I love how you haven't shut down. 6" here is cause for alarm and the phone tree gets activated at work. Ever since the big blizzard of '03 (in which I was stranded in an apt w/ no heat/gas/power), people freak the fuuuck out. With 16", I would be sitting at home drinking wine.
BTW, my poor Civic is shiiit in the snow too. I keep begging DH for an SUV. Since Ramona spun out and got stuck last year and I was stranded again, I think a new car looms on the horizon. Or we'll just move to CA
Brew- Come on over to Cali! We will NEVER see snow in the Bay Area. It gets cold here but nothing like where you ladies are at.
Jen- Great minds...um, I mean dirty minds think alike.
Well here it's humid and the high is 65 degrees, yes I am wearing flip flops, I wish it would hurry up and get cold!
jealous! I want some snow in Boston! wishing for a white Christmas this year as always!
I have a little two door sports car - 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse. I LOVE it and it's actually alot better in the snow than I expected, but for New England winters, it's impractical. In a few years, I'll be shopping for an SUV that can actually fit a car seat in the back comfortably
. For now, DH has a Jeep that has no problem on the snowy, icey roads.
