I need a hug. (warning: gross story inside)
Lately I've been getting kind of sick in the morning, and I have to wait until it passes before I can go to work (one hour on the subway with no bathroom could be a problem). This morning it happened again, and it was no big deal at first. I went to the fridge to get some water so I don't get dehydrated, and I threw up all over the kitchen floor.
I hate throwing up, I always cry a little (lame, I know) and I was on my hands and knees, practically sobbing as I cleaned the floor. At least it wasn't on the carpet. Now I'm lying down because I feel kind of dizzy and I'm hoping to go to the doctor later, if I recover enough to travel. I know I should have gone sooner (it's not normal to be sick several mornings a week when you're not pregnant) but it was manageable...I know, not an excuse. It sounds so stupid in retrospect.
I don't know where I'm going with this LJ-ish post, I'm just feeling sorry for myself and I can't really do anything but post on TN/TK and watch crappy TV. Maybe I can turn this into an 'ask me anything' thread to keep myself occupied while also entertaining you guys, to make up for the vomit story?

::hugs:: I always cry a little too when I throw up. I think it's the retching that evokes tears, then I feel I must accompany the tears w/ some small sobs. Hope you feel better soon, I know it's not fun.

1) You're SURE you're not pregnant? What about stomach flu?
2) What's LJ? As in LJ-ish post
3) What crappy TV is on right now?
A while ago (two weeks, maybe?) I did. And I just recently got my BC shot again so I highly doubt it. But when I go to the doc I'm sure they'll check that out.

Edit: I'm watching Regis & Kelly right now. I used to hate Kelly Ripa, but it's not so bad right now, Joel McHale is on and it's pretty funny. Also Kelly is hungover and she seems uber uncomfortable.
LOL, how do you know Kelly is hungover, did she say so? That's hilarious either way. I'd rather be watching that than working, that's for sure!

Brew - she said she was hungover. They had some girl's night out in Vegas with contest winners last night. I dunno. It also seems like her dress is too tight, even though she's super skinny. Nicky Menaj (sp?) is on right now, I can't stand her.

Macy's has this Micheal Kors dress I have been eyeing for about a month for 67 $ normal price 140 and I am broke and H won't buy it for me. I check it every couple of days to see what the price will drop to, it will go from 140 to 112 then to 84 back up to 112 and now at 67, I guess because it's cyber monday or somthing. I think I am going to hit up my dad to buy it for me. I know I am a spoiled little daddys girl. lol

I've never heard her rap, so I'm not sure if I would feel differently. I can appreciate some good rapping, and I always feel so dorky when I say stuff like, "That was an awesome rhyme".
I've only heard her 'hip-hop' song that's out right now, which honestly sounds like a pop song that happens to have swearing in it. She looks like ghetto trash in the video, which doesn't fit the sound of the song IMO. And I think she tries way too hard to dress like Lady Gaga, it's kind of sad!

Agreed, she does try way too hard to be Gaga-esque. Her hit right now (Your Love) is definitely NOT her best work. She sings a couple of rap hooks on some other songs right now (like Trey Songz' Bottoms Up) that are much better. I feel that Your Love is her departure from rap, like, hey, here's how original I can be and I'm showcasing my vocals. But if it's the first time you've ever heard her, it defeats the purpose.
ETA: BTW, I have no idea if you're actually referring to Your Love and I just youtubed the vid and I kinda liked it (which made me think I'm on a different page)

I'm not sure what it's called, but I know the hook is 'How do you do that' or something. I know she says 'how do you do that ish' in the video, but I'm fairly certain that the uncensored lyric is 'sh!t', and the profanity doesn't really fit the rest of the romantic cheesy flow of the song to me.
I think the 'ghetto trash' look is because she looks exactly like all the sluts in my school from middle school in terms of makeup + wifebeater.

If it makes you feel any better I now have a somewhat-irrational fear that I'm pregnant because of one of my friends. I told her that my cat has been acting weird and is basically attached to me and she said "are you sure you're not pregnant, my dog did that before I knew I was." and someone on FB said almost the same thing to me when I mentioned something about it on there a while ago.
So either my cat is strange and wants a lot more attention than usual or I've been pregnant for over a month with no symptoms other than a strange cat. I just want my damn period now!
