Hey ladies, sorry I've been missing for so long. This past month has been one of the craziest ever, and as it turns out being homeless and jobless makes it hard to get online very often. We're currently staying with a friend in Philly after some time in Orlando with my family, and leave for Cambodia a week from today! Once we get there and settled I'll hopefully be around a bit more.
In the meantime, a little bit of news. E left London a bit earlier than me to come back to the states for a job interview and we found out the day before Thanksgiving that he got it! It's a 2 year position with the US Government's office for Immigration review - in Los Angeles! We've always talked about living on the west coast so this gives us a chance to try it out for 2 years and see how we like it. And... get this... it's PAID. I can hardly wrap my head around the fact that we'll have 2 incomes for the first time in more than 5 years. So we'll be in Cambodia through next summer, come back to the east coast and then drive across the country to be in LA by September. I'm ridiculously pumped.
I know I've missed a ton, but just scanning through posts I have to send congrats to Ringy and girl23! I'm so excited for all the July babies and secretly-not-so-secretly hoping one of them is born on my birthday.
