I can't get my laminate clean :(
I've tried wet swiffers but they don't get the grime and are wasteful. So then I bought a Libman spray mop that has a reusable pad and you can fill the container with whatever solution you want. I've tried Mrs. Meyers but it left streaky residue all over my floor. Then I tried just plain hot water but that left streaks too. It's driving me crazy...any ideas?
Re: I can't get my laminate clean :(
I don't have laminate (I changed my mind at the last second and splurged for the hardwood) but there was a post about this a few months ago...
I think the general consensus with streaky laminate was to work on a small area of the floor at a time. Wash the floor with your cleaner of choice (plain hot water was the most popular I believe) and then buff dry with a dry microfiber pad or towel.
If I remember correctly, this problem was more noticible with the darker laminates (cherry, walnut, etc).
