UGH Budget issues

So DH and I finally sat down yesterday and looked at our inflow vs outflow of money and it is not good. We are looking to cut everything and not do as much spending. The problem is that we have my condo in Atlanta that we need to spend money on in order to get it rentable again. If we spend the money on the condo, then we won't have enough to pay our taxes come April.

So last night before falling asleep, I came up with a plan and now I just need to convince DH it will be a good plan to implement. I talked to my sister this morning and she has agreed to help us. She has some savings that she is willing to loan us a portion of it. The amount I asked her for will go to pay off 5 of our credit cards, and have some left over to get the condo fixed. Once we get those CCs paid and the condo rented, we will start banking about $1500 in savings each month. This way, we can pay off stuff, not have a structured loan with interest, and we can start putting money back into our savings, instead of taking out to cover our monthly expenses.

I was crying when I called my sister this morning. It was the last thing I wanted to do. I promised my sister that I will pay her back within 12 months, and she knows I will. Thankfully she understands and is willing to help. Now I just have to convince DH. Wish me luck tonight!
