colored lights or white? White and I do the lights myself so I have a ton of them!
matchy-matchy or just random ornaments? Right now it's pretty matchy. I have red sparkly poinsettia picks in the tree, white lights, and my ornaments are deep red, gold, and red/gold. I have three ornaments on there that don't match, and plan on adding more non-matching ornaments as I collect them!
do you decorate the back of the tree? There's a small section not decorated that's in the back corner, so no one can see it.
what is your tree topper? deep red berry wreath halo that's tilted forward with a red/gold bow in the center. It's pretty.
do you put gifts under the tree right away or wait until Christmas Eve? I have lots of presents sitting under it already. My wrapping paper matches in the same colors...I have green with red/white peppermints, red/green/silver striped, red/green/silver/white snowmen, and snowflake polka dots in red/white/silver/green. I'm on my fifth roll of wrapping paper and haven't done any of B's gifts yet!

matchy-matchy or just random ornaments? For the most part it's matchy-matchy. There are some random ornaments such as M's first Christmas and our wedding ornament.
do you decorate the back of the tree? I decorate it alittle since you can kind of see it.
what is your tree topper? Right now? Nothing. I have some how misplaced my beautiful bow topper I bought last year. I am devastated because it was really pretty.
do you put gifts under the tree right away or wait until Christmas Eve? I will probably wait until the night before because last year M liked to take the bows off. And I'm sure this year won't be any different.

do you decorate the back of the tree? No, our tree is in the corner so it's really pointless to decorate the back.

is your tree real or fake? Fake. We had real ones until I was about 12 or 13, then my parents got a fake one. They got tired of dealing with the needles.
colored lights or white? We used to use gold lights before my parents got a fiber optic tree. Now, their tree is white. My tree has colored fiber optics.

do you decorate the back of the tree? Yup - that part faces the street, so we leave the windows open and showcase it.

do you put gifts under the tree right away or wait until Christmas Eve? Both. My sister and I usually put presents under the tree before Christmas. My parents are lazy and wrap all their stuff on Christmas Eve. :P

matchy-matchy or just random ornaments? All random, and lots of them are shiny and sequin-y.
do you decorate the back of the tree? I don't put much back there. We usually have to put the tree against the wall, so there's not much point.
what is your tree topper? An angel. Ironic, huh? But it's more family tradition than anything else. My DH thought I'd lost my marbles the first time he saw me putting the nativity set up, but we'd done that for over thirty years at home. Still makes me smile to think about it.

is your tree real or fake? Fake. We had a real one the last two years, but those things are a pain in the butt!

matchy-matchy or just random ornaments? Mostly red and silver ornaments. A couple random. Growing up, my brother and I got to each pick one new ornament every year. I think DH and I are going to start doing that this year.

colored lights or white? Colored LED (We bought a pre-lit LED tree on sale after Christmas last year and it made putting up the tree SO much easier. Though I do wish we had also put some twinkling lights on it too. I love the twinkling ones.)
