In the spirit of Thanksgiving...
Re: In the spirit of Thanksgiving...
you guys. my MIL has done most of these (except pregnancy/grandchild related ones) and would probably have done more if we still spoke to her.
she is really an unfortunate individual. we haven't talked to her in over 2 years because of her insane behavior.

Wow-zers! Some of those are absolutely horrifying!
I'm sorry for any of you who have to deal with anything remotely near what these crazy women do!
Jen - I take it she was NOT at your wedding?
nope! she sure wasn't. DH's best friend's parents (who were like second parents to him growing up) stood in for them. she and FIL did make sure to call and yell at best friend's parents after the wedding though when they found out they attended. because you know...that's normal.
oh, and they weren't upset that substitute parents were there - they were upset that everyone would find out about it and that people might think bad about them (too late, everyone knows you're both insane!). the funny part was about a week after the wedding, another of DH's friend's mom ran into MIL & FIL at their local grocery store and called them on all their BS for the past 5 years and totally embarrassed them in public. so you know, karma's a b!tch.

NICE!
And hey... at least your H knows that they're BSC, too!
This made me happy. I suppose that makes me a bad person.
