I'm sick of my hair. I need a change.
I have super thick hair. I wish I could rock the wave, but in florida the weather doesn't really cooperate.
I'm not afraid of short-ish hair, I'm just not sure if I should chop off now, or go to a medium style and then decide.
Can you all help with some hair inspiration?
Re: Help with hair style
I have really thick hair too and have a hard time deciding to hack it all off when I want to go short. For me, to get a good cut where I don't have too much volume, I will usually have them razor out some of the fullness.
Something like this would be cute:

I love all of those pics and they would all look great on Carolyn. I like the Katie Holmes one the least but it's still cute.
Funny you post this because I'm having my hair cut at 11 tomorrow morning. I haven't looked at pics because my hair is so full of quirks that it will never look like a picture, well, after I wash out the style the professional does.
I'm trusting my stylist to know what to do with my hair. Last cut he gave me was great, I cut off 9 inches after the wedding. This time I will be more brave and I want more layers on top. I wish I could have bangs but my mom gave me cowlicks. (Is that how you spell it?
I love the 1st and third ones that FLV posted.
If you want something that is just a little longer (long enough to still pull back when working out or running) what about something like this? You start with this and always go shorter after that. Plus it would be really simple to style.
Thank you all. I love them all. You gals are on to something though, that yes, I would like to pull back my hair when working out
I could either get a longer version of the pics FLV posted or the one Tasha posted. Decisions, decisions.
Thanks for the inspiration.

I like them all. I'm not ballsy enough to cut my hair that short anymore. I cut it pretty short when Chris & I broke up and I hated it. ughhh.
It's short enough right now. i still have to wear a headband to keep my bangs back, and bobbypins to keep the little stray hairs up underneath my ponytail. I'm a freak about hair touching my neck when I run {incase you haven't noticed}
