Though there's not a whole lot that's good about it.
Who else is getting this rain? The system looks huge, so I figure a lot of use are getting hit.
I started getting that scratchy sick feeling in my throat last night, then slept like poop last night, so I feel less than awesome today. All I want to do is go back to sleep.

No rain here thankfully. I'm afraid it'd be snow if there was. But, now I am off to check the weather to see what's headed our way.
I can't seem to get back on a good sleep schedule. Tonight the furnace guy is coming because it's smelled like it's been leaking for quite some time now. I finally was able to convince DH that it's not a normal smell, regardless of what his crazy parents tell him. Our friends confirmed it when they came over around the holiday. Seriously, it smells like a gas stove has been left on for a week when it kicks on. Not normal! I swear some boys will listen to anything their mom says.
Hopefully it'll keep me awake through my normal nap time and I can go to bed at a decent hour.
We're getting snow here! This is pretty early for London, so people are all out of sorts. I've been so chilled recently and can't seem to warm up.
Both DH and I felt a slight scratch in our throats last night also, so we're hoping that doesn't amount to anything. MIL arrives tomorrow for 10 days, so it would suck if both of us got sick.

The rain sucks, doesn't it? It's probably one of our last warm days for the year too.
I went to the One of a Kind show last night and picked up a totally awesome long cardigan that I'm wearing right now. I think I look pretty fabulous, if I do say so myself! That's my positive thought for the day.

Good morning. We have rain, just the perfect welcome back to work. Yuck.
Taking one more day for recovery was a smart move, though. Started to feel much better yesterday and today I'm feeling great. H still isn't 100%, but he didn't listen when I told him to stay home again. I wouldn't be surprised if he called to tell me he was leaving early, honestly--this bug's a bad one.
I'm also sending my SS gift today.
no rain... yet. I think it's supposed to arrive this afternoon/evening.
In terms of colds... I think I fought whatever I thought I was catching over the wkd, but I do have a chill I just can't shake.
Nothing else too exciting here. Taking tomorrow off for my doc appt, so just counting down until that.... however it's only 9:35.

For all you east coasters, we had the rain yesterday, and well, it pretty much sucked. Today, it's supposed to snow for the first time. Luckily, I don't need to drive anywhere. You would think that people in Chicago would be able to drive in snow, but sadly, not so much. People either drive 5 miles an hour or drive like maniacs in snow. It's so odd.
Anyway, I'm feeling much better today, after yesterday's stomach bug. Thankfully, it only lasted about a day. So I'm back at work, and it's going to be a busy day. Off to get stuff done. Have a good day everyone!

My self-evaluation is due today at work. Man, do I hate that process. But it's very important, as all raises and bonuses are determined by the ranking we get in this evaluation. Yuck.

I've had the same weather as NeptoonGrl, and I'm definitely dreading the predicted snow tonight. I had a lazy night at home last night and am planning another low-key evening tonight. I think I'm still recovering from all of my holiday travels.
Crazy for me today. Last day of the month.
I am finally getting back on track after the long holiday weekend of eating bad, and back to Zumba tonight thank god.
I am frantically trying to plan DH's graduation party, which stinks that it is before Christmas, but exciting that he only has a couple of weeks left!

Good morning, it's freezing here. We were only 18 degrees when I woke up. We had a huge snow storm hit Saturday-Sunday so everyone is still trying to recover from that. I also stayed up way too late finishing a homework assignment, I guess that's what I get for procrastinating. At least it's done and will be turned in tonight. I think I will go home after school and fall asleep. We have had a busy past few weeks, especially with J being gone. I'm tuckered out!
I'm also so excited that our tree is up and ready, it really puts me in the Christmas mood! Yay!

I have to go to the purolator today to pick up a package. After I drop Gibson off at school I may just go see the dentist as a drop in. I have an appointment for Friday, but I'm in so much pain right now and don't know if it can wait until then. Once I get home, it's laundry and cleaning. The usual stuff.

It's raining here, but then again, it always rains in Seattle.
My brain will not turn off at night. I'm fine during the day but the minute I lay down it starts to race. My grandma's dying, I found out details of the plane crash Jeff died in that I really didn't need to know. And it's all things I have no control over, but wish I could fix, so it makes it worse.
The 3 1/2 hours of sleep I got last night is not going to get me through today.

So far today has been a good day. Definitely not as hectic as yesterday so I have time to nest. It's cold today, well for LA anyway but nothing compared to what the weather is like in other parts. After work I'm heading to my parents house for dinner and then I'll head home to catch up on The Walking Dead. Hope you all have a great day!
