I swear I have no time to do anything but sleep, work and do house work!!!!
How is everyone today? Everyone enjoy their holidays and murdering of the pies?
Re: Morning
Morning. I overslept so I'm cranky and feeling disorganized. I want to start the morning over again but I'm really busy at work so its kinda pointless.
Thanksgiving was good though. My turkey wasn't dry and I did 95% of my Christmas shopping over the weekend.
Married / The Cookaholic Wife
I can't get out of bed in the morning anymore. That just means I've been ending up working later and later. AND my house is a HUGE mess! I put 85% of the xmas decorations up and all the fall stuff is piled in a corner. Clean clothes and dirty clothes are separated into two corners of the bedroom. Ugh. I need MORE TIME!!!!
That being said, I got home last night, made dinner, downed a bottle of wine and passed the f out instead of cleaning.
The Princess of Anything is Coming!
Had a dream I was queen.
Woke up. Still queen.
I hate Tuesday's more than Monday's. I was up til 11 working from home and I'm still not caught up. And I couldn't fall asleep til 1... Oh and have I mentioned I'm moving this weekend, have jack$hit packed and will be baby-sitting the next 3 days? I hope Jeremy enjoys packing.
Turkey day was good though. Jeremy's mom boycotted the her mom and the family so no drama was started so I was more than happy about that.
And then we went back to my somewhat more sane family the rest of the week.
We opted to stay home this year, so no turkey or pie. My Christmas presents are all bought, though, and the ones that have arrived are wrapped. I finally convinced Jeff to get his siblings GCs (two of which I got free with my credit card points) so that's one less thing to stress about. A few more left to wrap when they come in, and we're done. It's a good feeling.
Work sucks though.
Tuesday. Lamest day of the week.
Why is my font all facked up?
Anyway we hosted Thanksgiving this year for the first time. It went really well and my turkey was moist thank you tiny baby basting with butter Jesus.
My inlaws are not speaking to my husband because we hosted Thanksgiving, and they're pissed at his sister for coming to our house. It's one thing after another with these people and I have had it.
morning. I too am DRAGGING myself out of bed, and have woken up with a sore throat for the past two mornings. *Sigh* I REALLY don't want to get sick anytime soon. I did get some Christmas shopping for the Hubs done yesterday, but one of the packages is accidently shipping to his work. oops. I scrapbooked some last night too, that was nice for once since the hubs got home late. (he and a friend are working on a car to sell)
Tonight means grocery shopping after work and MAYBE having spaghetti for dinner if the hubs gets home before 9. I might scrap again b/c I seem to be on a bit of a roll from last night.
Thanksgiving was fine, nothing much to mention except I ate too much and we got our new dishwasher installed (YAY!) I need some more paychecks before I can do too much more Christmas shopping, the bank account is hurting.
LTB & Steph- Did you guys brine your turkey? I brined mine and tweaked Alton Brown's recipe for the brine. OMG...that freakin turkey was so moist. When we carved it, the thing sliced so perfectly. Even the next day when we had microwaved it, still was moist. I will never NOT brine a turkey ever again.
My Thanksgiving was good except...I was putting the left over turkey in the fridge and...I dropped the container on the floor. About half of the turkey ended up on the ground. I was so pi$$ed because the turkey was so good. Well, my brother's dog had a a great Thanksgiving feast.
Oh happy Tuesday. I already tell that today is going to be a great day. Do you note the sarcasm in that statement?!?!
