Are intros in vogue over here?
Hi! I'm new to this board and wanted to introduce myself. I usually hang out on P&CE and occasionally MM. I live in middle Georgia and commute to school at UGA where I'm finishing up my MA in journalism. I got married last December... and that's basically me in 50 words or fewer!

My Shopping Blog
I did my undergrad in magazines and I've taken a lot of poli sci classes. The dream is to write politics, but I'll write for anyone who will pay me at the moment! Where I am now, I'll probably start at the local paper. Once DH is ready to move on (he teaches HS), we'll probably move to Atl for more job opportunities for me.
Grady grads are the best
it's true
i got my degree in broadcast news, and worked in local news for 5 years until i decided i was really tired of it...and broadcast is NOT something to keep doing if you don't love it.
My Shopping Blog
I've seen a few job postings for writing broadcast copy, but I'm not sure that's up my alley. I write llloonngg (hence the magazine focus), plus I imagine it's a really fast-paced cycle. I can see how the burnout comes on fast.
