I work with one of my friends husbands. Yesterday on FB she posts something like "OMG I'm so tired of stuff going wrong at H's work cuz then I gotta deal with him and them....he really doesnt get paid enough."
1. I'm the bookkeeper/office manager/problem dealer-with-er. There wasn't anything wrong. 2. When so many people don't have jobs (my H included), lets not biitch about those that do. 3. Her H makes okay money. Would he make that anywhere else without a degree or training? No. 4. She doesn't deal with anything that happens here. If her H is pissed about something that happens here and takes it out on her that isn't my problem.
Today I post that its colder in my office than it is outside. She comments that its because my work is cheap. It took every ounce of niceness in me to only respond with "actually its because the heat is broken and the people who own the building keep lying about sending someone to fix it."
OMG STFU! I get it. She absolutely without a doubt hates her husbands job. How freaking horrible it must be to have a husband making more money than she does and providing for her and her family. How horrible it must be to know that without your husbands current job you wouldn't have the house you live in. How freaking horrible it must be that you complain about how your kids are spoiled but you spend every freaking penny your husband makes buying them crap for Christmas to the point where you can't pay your mortgage.
But yeah, lets just spend each day complaining about the company that provides you with the ability to do all that.
/vent.

She's one of my closer friends so I don't really want to hide her just yet, I'm just overly done with the constantly complaining she's been doing for the past 2 weeks or so.
Maybe a 2 day hide or something.

Honestly, I don't think he's saying much. He knew that he would get the crappy end of the stick sometimes and have to travel last minute. She knew it told (I told her) and they were both okay with it. She's also a bit....dramatic lets say. If her H came home and said "I have to leave tomorrow to go to X location because the people there messed it up." she would hear "I have to leave tomorrow because this stupid cheap ass company I work for is too stupid to sell things to smart customers."
I damn near told her to STFU a couple of months ago when she said "H worked 41 hours this week. That's illegal." Uh no, your husband is salary and considering most weeks he works 35 hours and gets paid for 40, how 'bout cha shut up about the hour, mmkay?
Its so nice to vent.

HAH. I wish that were the case. I can't remember the last time I worked less than 41 hours in a week. I wonder what she'd do if she were married to my H. He works up to 60 hours in a week sometimes.

OH FLYING FUDGEBALLS. She freaking posted again "either way ur work is cheap...lol...sorry..."
I can't decide if I want to say "uh you know you can get him fired for posting stuff like this" or "you're right. That horrible biitch Nichole who handles the money is such a cheap bastard."
ETA: For those of you who care and aren't my FB friend, I went with calling myself a cheap ass.
Married / The Cookaholic Wife
My contract is for 50 hours. My company pays me for 50 even though most of the time they only require me to stay 45 hours. But those times I have to stay the full 50 suck cause I know I'm not getting more money for the "extra" time.
I saw that you called yourself a cheap ass...I don't like your friend and couldn't resist the urge to comment (though I didn't say anything mean)

Alicia - bullying is what it would be if I wrote what I wanted to write.
"Sounds like someone is trying to start some *** with your boss, Nichole"
Gah! I can't get on FB at work!! Dying to see

Ooops, I keep getting sidetracked and forgetting to come back and post.
Alicia, I'd love to comment on what you said but it'd just go over her head again. I give up. I'm just going to ignore her for a while even though its taking tons and tons of control to be like "hey idiot. your H could get FIRED for your comments."
