lesbian hair rides again
I couldn't handle my last haircut any longer. My regular lady was out of town last Wednesday, which was the last chance I had to get a haircut until after the 12th, so I just went somewhere new and told them to lop it all off. I think I'd probably like it a little shorter so I can mess it up without looking like a homeless person, but I don't feel terrible about myself when I see my reflection anymore, so it's a start.

Some days I'm sooooooo there again... and then other days I remember the pain of being over it and having to wait for the awkward stage to grow out.

This is what it looked like in the car before I went in.
We saw some friends this weekend and one of them said, "Thank god you cut your hair. I was going to tell you that those bangs were not doing you any favors."
Bethie - the neckline on it is really weird. And the fit is odd. I usually wear the tall person tops from ON, but for this I had to wear the regular length and size down. If my boobs weren't currently the size of Peru, the chest would look awful. But I love polka dots.
I'm not looking forward to this. But I'm going to keep it short while Evie is in the hair pulling phase, so I won't have to worry about it for a little while.

It was the first (and last) time I've ever had bangs like that. It was just such a crap shoot as to whether they'd look okay or not after I washed my hair. Mostly they looked terrible though, which is why I'd been complaining about them here for the last month or so. Also, when it was hot, they'd just sort of stick to my face. And also people at work called it mom hair.

Why couldn't you just keep your fashionable lesbian hairs to yourself?! Now I'm looking at all my old pictures (even the ones I considered awkward at one time) and thinking, "That wasn't so bad. Do eeeet!"
