Had my 32 week check-up yesterday. Might get a chance to see little man one more time. They are measuring me at about 30 weeks right now even though I'm 32 weeks along. She said in one of the next few appointments, if I'm still behind growth-wise, they'll do an ultrasound to check him out, just to make sure he's growing ok.
I'm not too worried though, I had a feeling I'd have a smaller baby. She said she thinks we'll have a 7 lb-er on our hands - long and lean, like a little string bean! ![]()
Oh, and I gained another 3.5 lbs., in two weeks! Geez-o-pete, can someone tell me when the weight gain slows down again? Apparently I missed that memo, I'm sure it has nothing to do with my weekly donut binges ![]()
Re: Forgot to tell you ladies yesterday....
i thought a 7 lb baby was a "normal" size? but yay for any opportunity to see the little one!
yea, i don't like talking about weight gain either, haha. but now i want donuts!
I would not be surprised to see you have a string bean! I'd expect nothing else, really. Yay for getting a growth u/s. I was always hoping they'd give me another u/s, even though it would mean they had to check something out that could be wrong.
And don't worry about the weight gain. It will be a distant memory in two months!!
Thanks for the update!!
I've heard you can gain 1 lb a week in the last trimester...so your weight gain (bc you were uber tiny to begin with) does not surprise me one bit!!

Umm, me too! Beware, it can go by in the blink of an eye. Enjoy every moment, it's been an awesome experience
Really? Because this feels like the slowest three weeks of my life.

The first 20 weeks go by REALLY slow IMO. Things are starting to speed up now. At least that is the way I feel now.
I swear I was pregnant for about 5 years.
A 7-pounder sounds great! There are advantages to not having a huge baby.
