Oh I agree with J, you should ask for a kindle (depending on the budget) and then maybe gift cards to buy books. I know you like to read and you might like it.
If you like getting mani and pedi, you could ask for a gift certificate to get your nails and toes done sometime.
You know what I would love to have and it is not in the budget, but for someone to come and just deep clean my house (clean baseboards, scrub the floors, vaccum, dust, shampoo the carpets, etc). I need to do all this, but it is not something I want to do right now.
My mom has a donut maker where you bake them in the oven, and they turn out so good! She found the recipe in a magazine.
I've been having trouble coming up with stuff this year!
