This week is freakin awesome. :
First, I learn that my sister-in-law miscarried and is obviously torn up about losing the baby.
Second, I learn that my husband is going back to a crappy work schedule we both hate and caused nothing but problems for us. During our first year together, and now again starting in January, he worked a bizzare schedule which ultimately means he'll be working plenty of weekends while I'm not, about 2-3 days/nights roughly every week I won't see him at all and will be sleeping alone, and the time he does have off will mostly be while I'm at work. This year we both worked roughly the same M-F schedule and I am just so dreading this change. It reduces our time together, complicates trying to make plans or attend events, and screws with stuff like household chores/fair division of labor. BLEH!

Oh man, I'm so sorry.
They sure are subjected to some seriously crappy scheduling sometimes, aren't they? I guess the upside of the military screwing with life as you know it and always changing everything is that the bad times don't last forever either. I really hope his new schedule won't last long. Hang in there!
