On our potential Christmas card. I've never done Christmas cards (or photos) before, but now that we have all our wedding pictures, I kind of want to send some out. I wouldn't send them to every person we know, but I was thinking about ordering 50. Is this card too much "wedding". DH thinks it is and that we should use pictures of us on other trips, not just the wedding. But I keep thinking this is the one time where we could use our wedding pictures and it would actually be okay.
Thoughts?

Re: Need your opinions...
I think its nice. If we hadn't included a small wallet size photo w/ our thank you notes then I think we may have done wedding Christmas cards L is the first letter of your new last name right? If so I like the card!

It's cute, but it is a lot of wedding. Have you thought of maybe including one or two wedding pictures mixed in with a few pictures of trips or other things that have happened this year, that way you get an overall picture of your year?
I agree with Marick if have already sent out any pictures it may be too much, but I would at least include one picture because this is the only year you'll get to do that
First off, what a beautiful bride and groom you guys were- great pictures!! I think the card is beautiful, however...
Like PP, I would agree that if you did wedding pics for your TYN's then to do a full card with more wedding pics may seem to be a bit much of a good thing. I think H has a great idea - one or two wedding pics, along with a couple of others with varying themes would be a great way to sum up your happy year.
Here's what I'm thinking about doing, in case you'd like another idea: Having a friend take a picture of us in front of our tree by the fp with our doggies (maybe try to get H to don a santa hat along with me and the fur babies!), and put that pic on a card, along with a great oustide pic of the house decorated for Christmas last year that was taken during the snowstorm, when it was all wintry and white out, and then maybe one wedding photo of us.
At first I wasn't going to do any pics, but like pp noted, this is really the only year we can do this and get away with it, so I'm going for it :-) But yes, definitely go with the wedding pic, but think about adding some others to it!!
Jacqui, I love it! I say go for it. This is the only time you get to really brag about/show-off your awesome wedding pics.
BTW...where are you ordering them from? I am thinking about maybe doing photo cards if I can convince hubby.
This exactly !!!!
I agree that if you included photos in your thank yous that doing more photos for Christmas is a bit redundant.
I like the idea of take a "family" picture and included that on the cards along with some other random pictures throughout the year.

i love the idea - if my pictures would be back in time jeff and i would definitely do this but we're only 25 days out at this point so it aint.gonna.happen.
as an idea if you're trying to incorporate other christmas-type pictures - jeff and i bought zip up footie onesies and are taking a funny picture together as our christmas card for everyone.
Thank you everyone for the opinions! I may play around some more and incorporate some photos of our dogs, other trips, etc. I love all the ideas out there.
Julie - These were through Shutterfly. Although I didn't really do a lot of searching around for a great deal so there may be other photo cards that are cheaper. I just liked all the options through Shutterfly.
