Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

DH will be sitting down with the president/owner of his company to possibly work out a contract for him. They've taken on this new company in a partner ship and DH has done TONS of work for them and they're beyond pleased with the way things have gone. We think they're going to ask him to basically run this new department. While it isn't his favorite thing to do (production), he's also not stupid or selfish enough to turn down a good offer. From the sounds of things, he could quite possibly be making what our combined income has been!
That said - as much as we would both like me to stay home, we were talking last night, and depending on how things go and what comes of it, it might be a smarter move for me to keep working, and pay off the house in a few short years. While we'll most likely be losing on our house, if we pay it off, we'll have a pretty hefty down payment on something bigger and nicer within 5 years.
I think though, that this new position might include some travel - to crazy places like China and Japan. While DH would have a REALLY hard time traveling like that, and I wouldn't like him being gone - since it probably wouldn't just be a 1-2 day trip...if it's best for our family and our future, it's what we'll do.
So, just hoping for some good news within the week!

I am curious to know where he works if he is traveling to Japan....but I understand you don't want that on the internet.
