calling all crockpot users!
I want to cook a chicken in my crockpot with some potatoes and carrots for tomorrows dinner. I'll get up early in the morning to get everything going and let it cook while I'm at work. Should I put the potatos and carrots on the bottom of the pot with the chicken on top? Or should I put the veggies on top of the chicken? I've never cooked a chicken and veggies in one at the same time, so I'm not sure which way to go. TIA!

Re: calling all crockpot users!
If you have a good crockpot, it doesn't really matter much, to be honest.
That said, I would probably put the potatoes on the bottom, chicken next, with carrots on top.
me too, i throw all that stuff in there and mix it up
