DIY Holiday gift: which would you rather have?
J & I (it's mostly me, go figure) would like to give each of our Aunts/Uncles a small, DIY gift for Christmas. We're already giving them each a framed family photo from our wedding, and I want to give them decorated jars with either cookies, hot cocoa mix or some other treat, but am being indecisive.. (what else is new!)
So, which sounds tastier?

Re: DIY Holiday gift: which would you rather have?
I said chocolate chip cookies, but I wanted to say "other" just so you'd mail me some too. :-)
I don't drink cocoa, and not everyone will, so I would go something more universally consumed like choc chip cookies.

I hit the chocolate cookie option right before I saw the mail one to me option!
I rescind my vote. Send one to me please.

I like the jars with the ingredients and directions for cookies in them. I've seen them for chocolate chip, oatmeal, etc. I think they turn out cute, like the one you PIP'd, and who doesn't like cookies? Even if they don't like cookies, they can make them and bring them to work or something.
I've also seen the jar idea done with soup, too, which I think can be cute but it's harder to pick a soup that people universally like.
lets be honest, i would be happy with ANY of those options. they all sound great.
last year i got a curry lentil soup mix in a jar that a friend made me. it was SOSOSOGOOD.

I didn't vote because I'm now paralyzed with indecision. Hot chocolate, chocolate chip cookies. Hot chocolate, chocolate chip cookies. BOTH ALL EVERYTHING!
My cookie thought is this: everyone else is being a fancy dancer holiday cookie maker. Keep it simple and delicious.
