Did I do something wrong?
I went home on my lunch hour to check on my crockpot chicken and potatos. My chicken is cooking, but the potatos arent. They had actually turned a little brown. Its been on low in the crockpot since 7am this morning (1pm now), I wonder why they haven't started cooking?
(Just so you know I don't use my crockpot alot)

Re: Did I do something wrong?
Hmm. I'm kind of surprised that they aren't cooking at all. I can't imagine what you would have done wrong, though! Is your crockpot a hand-me-down? I know my mom used to have one that didn't cook very well, but the new ones I've had have all worked great.
I cook potatoes by themselves in the crockpot all the time, and it only takes two hours on high (which translates into four hours on low).
The good part is that the chicken is cooking, so if you have to throw the potatoes into a pan and cook them on the stove, it still won't take you long to have dinner ready once you get home.
