question on selling wedding decor

where would you post it on craigslist? arts and crafts, general for sale, or materials?

Re: question on selling wedding decor

  • I think I did general but I made sure that "wedding" was in the title because some people search that way.

  • Stuff like ribbon and colored stones and confetti I may put under arts & crafts but if it's a cake stand and stuff like that I'd probably say general.

    I'm scared of Craigslist.  Embarrassed

  • thanks ladies! i put it under arts and crafts since it's tons of vases, beads and flameless candles - hopefully someone will bite around here!

i'm scared too cindy - it's why i put that the items have to be picked up after 5:00pm at a mutually comfortable location - why?? because my big tough husband is off work then and can fend off any weirdos :)

  • Don't be scared of craigslist!  I sold almost all my wedding stuff using that website.  But like you said, I always met them in a central location and the couple times I did go alone, it was in broad daylight.  And like Dasmel said, make sure to put 'wedding' in your subject line as that's how I found people usually searched.

Good luck selling your wedding stuff!  It was awesome how much money I made back.
