What's on your christmas list?
Ziggy asked me this weekend what I wanted for Christmas (he already got his early present---bought an xbox 360 at a good Thanksgiving sale..you know, aside from the necessities like sweater and such).
I don't really want anything....so i told him a new vacuum (ours lost its suction), then we decided that we'll just get another cheap one for now until we put the hardwood floors into the house, adn then get a nice one.
So instead...i'm getting a garbage disposal for Christmas! Woo hoo! Oh how i wish we weren't such practical people lol.

I love that your gift is a garbage disposal!
I'm having a hard time coming up with ideas for gifts this year. Aside from clothes, I'm at a loss. We got so many great things for the wedding that I can think of anything else at this point that we need....especially with us not being in our own place.
This morning I did think that I could probably use a new, larger jewelry box. Maybe that will go on my list.
My SIL got a garbage disposal for her birthday last year!
I don't need much either, which really is a good thing! I want movies, books, a new pair of boots, gift cards for clothes, and some new beads for my Pandora bracelet.
I will also get to enjoy DHs big gift so it is partially for me too. I got him a night at a cool B&B on his birthday in February. He knows the date, but has not seen the place. Which means I now need to figure out his birthday present to go along with it!
My DH bought me some new pajamas. They are flannel and SUPER comfy. I went with him when he got them, because they came from Victoria's Secret, and he didn't know what size, and heaven forbid he buy anything there that isn't a gift card, and then have to walk through the mall with a pink bag! HHe said he is getting me something else too, but I have no idea what it is.
As far as being practical, DH wasked for underwear for Christmas. Yes, underwear. We were at Kohls like a week or 2 ago, and he bought a few new pairs of underware. (It's been awhile....he really needed them). So he bought a different kind than normal, and they are like microfiber or something? (I know they aren't cotten or satin or anything.) He is OBSESSED. He found a few pairs on kohls website he likes that aren't in the actually store....he bookmarked them and asked for them for Christmas.
We are officially grown-ups.
DH wears mesh ones that he first bought from Kohls! He too is obsessed. We got some new ones for him a few weekends ago and he was so excited when he put them on - he was prancing around the room!
As Murphy's Law would dictate, there is a very high probability that we are both getting at least one new tire on each of our trucks. Because we can't pick up nails and other nice things any other time than right before Christmas. lol
Although, I wouldn't mind a Kindle or some zebra print seat covers for my X-Terra.
My DH, me & both of my kids always get new socks & underwear in our stockings .... my daughter actually loves it, because I will usually get her the funky-est socks I can find.
Hahahaha...so did mine!!! We agree that we got so much for the wedding, there really isn't anything that we need or want. So he said underwear.
As for my list...I'm hoping DH replaces some of the sweaters of mine he has shrunk over the past few weeks. I have flat out asked him to stop doing any of my laundry...because he has ruined so many of my things. So, for now, I'm wishing for some sweaters.
Kim, I would LOVE a garbage disposal for Christmas!! Well done! But I'll wait until our next house in a year's time, because hopefully it will be our forever house.
I asked for a black Coach purse for my birthday, but since DH wasn't working and I was on mat leave, he said for Christmas as a joint birthday/christmas gift. I picked one out, and it's 20% off next weekend, so I hope DH buys it for me.
DH wants some new clothes. He hasn't bought anything since the spring, so he'll pick out 5 or 6 items and I'll wrap them for him. My mom bought us Roots sweatpants too, but that a surprise for him.

I asked DH for a sewing machine this year. I really want to start making things like pillows and curtains and stuff. I also found the cutest pattern for baby booties that I want to try to make for my good friend whose baby shower is in January. So cross my fingers
Other than that I just asked for clothes, and maybe a new Vera Bradley bag.
Speaking of flannel PJs though. I bought the ones at Boston store the day after thanksgiving. Regular price was $44 I got them for $15. They are the absolute worst flannel PJs ever!!!!! I bought the XL because I like my PJs a little bigger - well the bottoms are made for someone who is atleast 6' tall and 300 lbs. You can literally fit DH and I in them. The top barely fits me! They aren't even comfortable. I am so bumbed because they are really cute. UGH!
