Some of you might remember this. I wrote a story about this little boy last year who was diagnosed with leukemia and sparked a global outpouring of support. Well, now his story is inspiring Christian music artist Matthew West.
I've never heard of him, but apparently he is a big deal in the Christian music world. He wrote a song for Dax and his family! He is trying to help Dax's parents raise enough money to run St. Jude Children's Hospital for one day... that's $1.6 million.
Here is the link if you want to check it out. I was just so moved that Dax continues to touch lives
Re: AW: Remember Dax?
That's so great he is trying to help out.
I remember that story... I remember it often now bc my friends friend's kid is going through something similar...not leukemia though.
I definitely remember this.
How very touching. I really hope they meet their goal!

I've followed Dax's CaringBridge site since your story. He passed away last December I believe and they just had a baby girl maybe a month ago.
They did a HUGE celebration for his brithday this summer. I sent them some Scentsy as a donation for their raffle's
Matthew West is a big name in Christian music. That's awesome he's doing that for Dax!
Oh, and they are building a house in Dax's name for sick children in their area (think Ronald McDonald house).
