NYE plans for 18yo?

BF's 18yo brother will be visiting us from TX over New Year's and we'd like to take him somewhere, but know he's still only 18yo.

We normally get together with friends and just hang out, eat, play board games and watch the ball drop, but we're thinking he'd like a little more "active" NYE. BF is pretty insistent that he doesn't want any alcohol around either.

So... since we can't get into clubs since his brother isn't 21yo, are there other plans in Cincy area that would be fun for his brother to do?

PS. Sporting events, restaurants, anything fun to do!

DH & his sisters like to go out to eat on NYE (usually Outback or Logan's) but places are packed & the service is usually awful. Last year we stayed in Dayton & went out for Mexican food. We had a fairly calm, cheap, & good dinner. I would go to a non-chain and/or ethnic place if you decide to go out. DH & I went home & watched a movie. It was my idea of a perfect evening, not sure if it would fly for an 18 y/o! Maybe you could go to an actual movie? Some churches have alcohol free, family friendly parties. My parents do this most years. Again, might not be the most fun for a teen unless church is already a big part of his life.

Don't they have those night clubs for teens? I'm not really much help since I'm a boring sit at home with the family and generally fall asleep only to wake up in time to ring in the new year kind of girl :P
