t&p really needed
for those of my "knotties," you will be familiar with my story. for those who aren't, my dad was diagnosed with cancer about 6 weeks before my wedding. it was pretty bad. he had to have 14lbs of mass and organs removed and was in icu for a couple of weeks. there was a lot of worry that dh and i would get married in a hospital room a couple of days before our actual ceremony. but by the grace of god, he was able to walk me down the aisle. unfortunately, he was not able to enjoy a lot of my wedding because he was so sick and weak. we did have our first dance together that was probably one of the most memorable parts of my wedding. fast forward to now - there were 2 blueberry size masses found on his last visit. he will have to have surgery again that will entail a week long icu stay again. his oncologist meets with the board today to give recommendations of treatment today. we don't know if surgery will be really soon, as in the next couple of weeks, or if it will be in the beginning of january. please keep him, our family, and his doctors in your thoughts and prayers. his spirits are high this time (unlike last time) and i am trying to keep mine high.
