I am looking to switch up my face makeup. I've been looking at reviews on makeupalley, but am also curious what the Nesties use
What makeup do you use for foundation/concealer/powder/tinted moisturizer? Why do you like it?
Re: Makeup
I use this as my tinted moisturizer.
I use this as my "every day" face powder, applied with a brush.
If I'm going for a more polished look then I start with this and then finish it off with the pressed powder applied with a brush.
I use Boscia tinted moisturizer most days. I really like it. It's made from really good ingredients and doesn't have any nasty chemicals in it (normally I buy it from Sephora, but I couldn't find it to give you a link. It's not listed on the Boscia website either. They better not have discontinued it or I'll be p!ssed). I use Korres Wild Rose concealer.
Currently I'm still using Clinique pressed powder, though that is going to be changing soon because I'm trying to switch all my beauty products to ones that are more natural and have fewer chemicals. I've been using Clinique's Stay-Matte pressed powder for years and really like it. I would continue to use it if it was a more natural product. I rarely wear foundation, but when I do I'm currently using Clinique SuperFit Foundation, which I also really like, but again am going to be switching.

Before my wedding I tested out a few different foundations/powders. The one I liked the best was actually Revlon photoready, for both powder and foundation. I'm still using it everyday. I feel like it covers pretty well. This surprised me.
I also tried the same combo of MAC makeup that Sarah uses. While I really like it, and will use what I have left, I don't think it covered any better then the Revlon photoready. So for the price difference I'll just stick with Revlon.

I have Mac and Bobbi Brown foundation but have recntly discovered Revlon Colorstay thanks to the F&B board. Love it! It truly lasts all day long. I use Smashbox primer underneath.
As for moisturizers, I'm old and wrinkly and use Oil of Olay in the red pump for the day and the purple jar at night.
I'm a Bare Escentuals (bare Minerals) girl. My face started breaking out in my mid-20s and after I started using this product my face has been great (by all means, I do still have a stupid big ol' zit from time to time though). But, I made the switch about 8 years ago.
Everyday I use their foundation powder and "warmth" for my blush. For a special occasion I use the Mineral Veil and a wonderful blemish cover-up is their Bisque.
I've tried their eye shadows and eh...I thought they were okay. And that's all I've tried of theirs.
If you're interested in trying it out before purchasing a full container, I've had great luck with ebay sellers who distribute sample sizes for a very low cost. They claim to have everything sanitized and like I said, I've had great luck with them.
