My mom passed away last year and I inherited a lot of beads and jewelry making supplies. I've taken what I want from the collection, and wish to donate the rest of it to some organization that does kids' crafts. (The beads are not high quality and I don't think any serious adult beader would be interested.)
If anyone has a lead on an organization, group, or school here in the Twin Cities that could put them to use, I'm happy to drop them off.
The collection is beads, string, wire, clasps, tools, etc. It is all housed in a rolling three-drawer Rubbermaid box.

Re: Wish to donate beads/jewelry making supplies
I occasionally tutor at an emergency women and children homeless shelter in Minneapolis. They would probably be interested. It's called St. Anne's Place. (612) 521-2128 or info@acensionplace.org. I don't know who you would talk to specifically but if you tell them what you have they will let you know if they could use it.
I'm sorry to hear about your mom. I think it's a great idea to pass along something she enjoyed doing so that someone else will continue it.
