Hair dryer recommendation?

I think someone else posted this question a few weeks ago but I couldn't find the old post...

My very old hair dryer finally gave up this morning, with a puff of smoke (no hair caught fire in this unfortunate incident). So it's time to buy something new!

Since, I'm using it a lot more after my last haircut, it needs to be something good that dries fast! Any recommendations?

Re: Hair dryer recommendation?

  • It's not cheap, but I swear by the T3. I've had mine for 4+ years now, and I love it! It cut my drying time in half (from 40 minutes to 20 minutes), and my hair looked healthier after I started using it. My hair is a huge pain in the neck, and I tried so many different dryers over the years. This one has blown them all away.

Is this the famous, expensive hair dryer I've heard some people talk about??

  • I have an Elchim and really like it. I think it's this model.  It seems to do a better job of minimizing frizz than my basic old Conair.
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

    Most likely, yes!

  • No recs but mine is on it's way out and I saw this on Amazon:

It has great reviews by tons of people and it's inexpensive as heck.

     http://www.amazon.com/Revlon-RV544-Tourmaline-Lightweight-Silver/dp/B000FS05VG/ref=sr_1_1?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1291330160&sr=1-1

The T3 is expensive and has a lot of mixed reviews that make me think I should give the above dryer a try before I blew $100.
