Yay Thrusday. Freaking finally. I can't wait for the weekend.
I still have a scratchy feeling in my throat, but it hasn't really progressed past that point, so I'm hoping a few good nights of sleep will kill it completely.

Today is a good day, with the exception of one thing. The good things were the thoughts I had first thing when I woke up.
Now the not so good. Today is weigh in day, and I was out of control for the long Holiday weekend. I already know I have a weight gain, but I need the reality check, and it is right back on track for me.

I just came from a fantastic lunchtime performance by an acapella group singing Christmas carols. Now I have a huge smile on my face and am totally in the holiday spirit! I also decorated the apartment last night ... so bring on Christmas!

It doesn't seem real at all, but my nurse assures me that I am.
Plus, I POAS again last night, just to make sure.
It's still super busy here, with the addition of being extra cold. At least the sun came back out. I'm waiting on a call from our lawyer about the FEC filing that due today and I have a moving company coming in about an hour to give us a quote on moving the office. This afternoon I'm supposed to me the computer wiring guy at the new space for a walk through. Lord knows what else will pop up today.

Good morning. Managed to get in a run last night and am going to enter the lottery for the Cherry Blossom 10-Miler today. Here's hoping I get in. We're doing more of the last-minute rush job today, so that should be fun (or at least make the day go by fast).
I am home working on presents for the kids in our lives and having a Harry Potter marathon. I'm with Raynes... My throat is at that annoying scratchy stage. Ugh.

I am starting on stitching around all the edges of the letters... Why did our siblings name their kids with such long names?! (Okay, not Kate, Molly, or Anna, but William, Wellesly, Caroline, Allison, and Elizabeth. Shoot me.)
Today I'm off work.
My plans include going to the gym, shopping for presents for a 2 years old I picked off our church's giving tree, getting a few presents for the toy drive at work and a baby present for an acquaintance who is due soon.
I'm also trying to get someone from work to switch my 4 hour shift on Saturday. We found out last night that Saturday morning will be funeral for our friend's Dad. Hopefully someone will be nice enough to switch under the circumstances.
Mornin' I am feeling sore. I started working out again. It's a good hurt but ouch.

Seems like it's gonna be a good day. I actually don't have crazy amounts of homework to do. Today I'm just gonna enjoy take it easy cause the next two weeks are gonna be hell due to final exams for all seven of my classes.
I really can't wait till tomorrow cause I'm going shopping for Christmas presents.
I'm super tired today, which is dumb, considering I got to sleep much earlier last night than normal. Although, I did wake up a ton last night and this morning. Hopefully I can nap it out after work tonight before Grey's Anatomy comes on.
I managed to cook a super carb filled dinner last night, which means I get to eat it for lunch today, too. Did I mention it's delicious and warm comfort food?Screw the carbs.
I also managed to get in a workout last night for the first time in a very long time. I hate when I get thrown off track. I'm hoping to hop on the elliptical when I get home before I get sidetracked doing anything else.

Aw crap, I didn't even know that was on! I watched all of Top Chef DC and I think I'm hooked. I'll have to find this new season and set it up to record!!

I am still coughing and very tired but other than that all is well here. Just a normal work day then I am picking out paint for our bedroom and doing some grocery shopping. I'm pretty exciting!
I stayed up late drinking wine and watching Top Chef All-Stars as well. DH even seems to enjoy it so I stole some snuggles at the same time.
I just looked at my calendar and realize we have at least one event every week in the evenings, as well s something every weekend from now until January 1st. Ugh. I love the holidays, and I usually love when they're over and life is back to normal.
DH must want something, he agreed to go with me to a huge holiday/craft bizarre this weekend, where I will hopefully find that perfect something for my secret santa
Good morning! I have a busy day at work today getting the client billing sent out. It's the first time I have to do it by myself so I'm a little nervous I'm going to mess something up.
Tonight I'm going to Bed Bath and Beyond to find an "As Seen on TV" gift for our white elephant gift exchange for work tomorrow. Hopefully I can make it to Kohl's and as, I'd love to get a new outfit for the party tomorrow too.
Oh man.
I had another pair of Gap jeans rip this morning.
That makes two pairs this year. Two means it's not a coincidence, right?
Ugh.
I have a headache right now, but am generally having a good day! I bought some Christmas presents last night and I'm going to pick up some more on the way home today.

precisely why i hate Gap jeans. They tear like no other. Hope your headache goes away.
Yep, I have only ever had one pair of jeans rip on me, and they were Gap. I really think their whole product line - Gap, Banana, and Old Navy - has gone WAY downhill in terms of quality in recent years.
Well, as per usual it is 5pm...but I had a great day! We watched a movie in my classes today (the only movie I show all year--a biography on Charles Dickens) so I had an easy day and got a lot of stuff done, then had a productive meeting after school.
Then I realize that there are 4 weeks left in December (duh...apparently I was being an idiot and thinking there were only 3 weeks....) so I can stop stressing out about meeting my self-imposed running mileage goal for 2010, so I decided to skip today's run and go out to dinner with DH instead!
I am off tomorrow as soon as school is out for a girls' weekend with my three best girlfriends. We are Christmas shopping and drinking lots of wine, so I can't wait! Have a great weekend ladies!!
