Hey Mellyjoy! (11/30 Glee spoilers)
I totally agree with you! Brit was adorable on Tuesday's Glee! But, I still loved Santana too. I think it's b/c I just don't like Rachel. Her attitude stink stank stunk, and I couldn't believe she did that to Finn! He was totally wrong for keeping the Santana thing from her, but they WERE on a break.
I loved Brit, but felt sad that she thought Artie was calling her stupid and she just took it =( But I really do like Brit and Artie together. Their scenes were so stinkin cute. And I cannot get enough of Brit's and Mike Chang's dance moves. Love! I PPH Mike Chang. Since Brit is such a great dancer, and we know Artie has moves, I hope Brit's Christmas wish next week comes true!
I have NEVER seen Kurt have less rhythm than when he was up there with the Warblers. I kinda wonder if that was intentional. He also looked like a baby with all those 40 year old men posing as boys. I swear, half of the Warblers could just blend in with the Hipsters!
I don't think he'll last very long at Dalton. It seems like a utopian environment for him, but it stamps out his creativity and individuality, and Kurt needs that. It seems like has to either repress his sexuality at McKinley, or repress his individuality at Dalton, and either way, he doesn't get to really be himself. I thought it was cute when Blaine signaled for Kurt not to raise his hands during Don't Cry for Me Argentina. But I'm not sure I entirely trust Blaine yet. I can't decide if he's just really nice and sweet and amazing, or if he's creepy. What are your thoughts?
I *loved* Puck this episode. He's really stepping up and I dig it. I loved him being so moved by the Hipster's song lol! And I applaud New Girl for scoring 7 Minutes in Heaven with Glee's Semi-Reformed Bad Boy (and rocking his world! The look Santana gave was priceless!). I air-punched her when she said show choir is stupid though. =/
As much as they tried to change up their set, they still relied on the ol' "let's come in singing from the back" bit. I think they could have performed the Dog Days song, and completely blown the competition out of the water. That was more unique and more "them" I think.

I hate Rachel. I keep hoping she'll finally get knocked down a few pegs. I was glad to see, at the end, that she passed on the opportunity to do a solo, offering it instead to Mercedes and Tina. Maybe losing Finn will provide the wake-up call she needs.
On that note, I was really glad to see that Puck ultimately turned her down! Good for him for doing the right thing.
Totally agree with you on the Kurt/Dalton/Warblers stuff. DH and I noticed Kurt seemed to be performing poorly during sectionals. I thought it was interesting that they'd let the new guy be right up front like that anyway... I thought the warbler bird was interesting, and it left me wondering if it'll become its own storyline. The scene towards the end where Kurt freaks out that it's sick makes me think that perhaps he's going to accidentally kill the bird, and that will ultimately drive him out of/away from Dalton and back to McKinley. One way or another, Kurt will be back this season. I would be shocked if they keep him with Dalton through to the Finals.
Also, what a bummer that Emma got married. I don't think that's going to last. That whole relationship seems very impulsive and out of character for her. I have a feeling that once the novelty wears off, they'll be splitsville. Besides, I'm really tired of watching her and Schu essentially have an ongoing emotional affair. Kinda pisses me off.
Oh, and DH and I were confused about the other group competing at Sectionals. Isn't it a high school competition? Why were senior citizens competing?
As for Sectionals, I was totally unimpressed with the first number they did. I found it to be kind of "meh", and too typical (I like the song... it was the performance that was missing something for me). However, I really enjoyed the second number, with Mike and Brit dancing. I'd love to see more of that! I really liked the Warbler's song too (despite Kurt's lackluster performance). And why did the New Directions get two acts, while the others only got one?
Curious what people think of the new girl? I was surprised they didn't make her actually "audition" at all. Can she sing/perform? Is she destined to become a real part of the team, or is she just filler until they A) find someone better, or
Kurt comes back?

Not an avid Glee watcher but not much else is on Tuesday nights so I have been finding myself watching it the past month or so. I already hate Rachael and I am so glad that Finn broke up with her, what she did was awful. I don't know what the background is with Finn and Puck but I think Puck is a decent guy. He's the type I would have gone for in high school.
I don't think Kurt will last long at Dalton either which disappoints me only because Blaine is my favorite name since I was very young and always wanted to name my son that. It's nice to see it getting some mainstream usage and I will be sad when I don't get to hear it every week. But his character kinda creeps me out a bit.
here's my take:
1. kurt will come back, he's way to stiffled at dalton. there isn't any way that they will keep him there for long. i really liked the performace from the warblers since schu did say in the beginning of the episode that their competition were "stool choirs" so i thought they weren't going to move a whole lot. i ? that they did train though. and i ??? (pph) that blaine cheesed up the line "you're so gangster i'm so thug" cuz the hubs and i make fun of pat for that line every single time. pat, from train, is the least thug person on the planet. i also like that there's a guy from the closing company from rent in the warblers. you know me and rent.
2. rachel is annoying, but her voice is amazing. so i always root for her, for no other reason than her voice blows me away. i think that what she did to finn was craptastic. seriously?!? with PUCK are you effing serious?? but i do like that puck turned her down. i was also really dissappointed in her telling finn "you said you'd never dump me." stupid.
3. i thought what santana did was mean. she didn't need to say anything. and she just did it because finn is cool agian. and i don't know how that is possible since he's a geek. i just didn't like her actions this week at all.
4. i love any time kurt and rachel sing together, even when they're not together. (defying gravity, anyone?) so i thought 'don't cry for me argentina' was great.
5. i liked that schu didn't have a song. YOU'RE A TEACHER! STOP SINGING! AND STOP TAKING LEADS!!!!!
6. i like that artie really gets brittany. although she is stupid, so maybe she didn't take it from artie as much as accept truth. but i think that they are super super cute together.
I was under the impression that The Hipsters were from a continuing education school.
New girl was specifically so they could qualify with a group of 12. (A warm body as Rachel put it.)
Kurt will be back this season. I'm still wondering if they'll develop the Blaine/Kurt story further.
Rachel annoys the isht out of me. Moreso this season than last. I'm sad that her character seems to have been written out to be worse than she needs to be. (Manipulative fame-ho, much?)
Hubs now has a crush on Britney. <snort>
