Today is a good day. I gave my resignation. I will be 'there' for 2 more weeks on the condition that I only do editing. I may only have 2 or 3 more days of work, but that's fine with me. My nice supervisor (not the angry mushroom) was sad that I'm leaving. He said I was a good one. haha

I get to teach all of the second graders about Hannukah.. although it won't be until the week before Christmas...haha

Thanks to Hanukkah the season for UPS started early and so yesterday my hubby worked 14 hours. I don't think I would be happy with someone knocking on my door with a package at 10pm but oh well he did it!

Ash... if you need an ideas of things to do with them I have a whole list of cute and not too difficult stuff. I've done then all with K and 1 so I know they are doable.

Pam- What's going on with your job?
My mom use to come into my elementary school (3/4 ps - gr 3...v. small school, let's just say there were no real dividing walls) and would make latkas and teach the kids about Hanukkah. My brother and I (4 yrs apart) were the only Jewish kids in the school.

Happy Hannukah!!! Also goldie, did I miss why you keep calling him an angry mushroom? I'm picturing a very short, skinny guy with a Dumb and Dumber haircut.
I should've explained. It's another supervisor that's the angry mushroom. She basically has a bowl cut, but she curls it under all the way around! She also comes off as a generally angry person and follows the rules to a t even when it is unnecessary. I can give examples later when I have time.
I didn't mention this either... when I gave my resignation the HR lady didn't even take out her earphones! Nice, huh?

I knew you'd like that one! One of the guys I work with twitters and I read it the other night. Apparently he overheard this: "Girl, I'm not pregnant. Let's go out and celebrate!" There's just all kinds of class at this place. To classy for me, that's for sure!
