Crazy 24 Hours. (long..sorry)

So last night after leaving my knitting group I get in the car turn it on and pull out of the parking lot and realize I have no lights.  It's now 9:30p and Wal-Mart is the only thing open, so I go buy light bulbs and attempt to change the bulbs in the parking lot under the big lights at 10pm. But I didn't have any luck, the bulbs were stuck in the socket and I couldn't get them out.

So on the drive home from the walmart parking lot, I called one of my friends whose husband is a mechanic to see if he can put in the light bulbs (he's done it for me in the past) unfortunately he was working but she convinced me to come by and we attempted to change the bulb.  I swear it was light the three stooges, it was her and I and her 15 year old son. So yet again, I finish driving home.  All together the ride was a total of about 10 miles...with no headlights...so scary.

I get up this morning drive to work (that wasn't so scary it was light out) I asked a few of the guys at work if they could try to change the bulb, one guy knew he could do it, so at lunch we went out to the car and he tried...and failed.

Yet again after work I took another 10 mile drive to Pep Boys and had both bulbs replaced. It took them a grand total of 5 minutes to change them.

Finally the drive home from Pep Boys was enjoyable and not scary.

Now I'm going to catch up all the posts since yesterday.  Looks like a busy day.
