Games/toys for an almost 3 year old?
You guys have been awesome in gift suggestions in the past, so I come to you yet again. My nephew will be 3 in January. What are all your kids really into?

I just put in my order for a retro kitchen for Andy. Granted, that is probably more than you are thinking.
Andy loves kitchen utensils. My H and I have joked that we are going to buy him a value pack of plastic spoons and see if he favors those over all of his new toys.
My sister got him this set of "gears" for his birthday:

They are a lot of fun. My H and I get fixated playing with them. We're easily entertained.
I have those exact gears on my fridge. I love them!

This is in the running list of ideas I have for Matt:
He loves make-believe all of a sudden, so maybe one of the play farms, schools, home, etc I even saw a "dog academy" one but the parts were really small
A globe
A puzzle made up of the letters of his name or mommy, daddy, Bobo, etc.
Magneatos are really cool and any kind of building blocks
A chef set since he helps me cook/bake a lot
Does Museum Tour actually have a store in Portland? Or is it just a catalog business? Because I did order a cool puzzle thing called "Solving Path" for him (sort of a lame name) - it's all I can do to not bust open the box right now and play with it.
Fisher Price has a retro line of toys out right now (the phone, the record player and the clock) - those are fun at this age.
I think this looks like so much fun, but it's expensive (wasn't sure how much you were spending). I got this for Matt's stocking - three-year-olds have heaps of energy so for those days we can't get out to play I like stuff that gets him moving but he's not just an aimless pinball around the house.
Connor too. It's really the cutest thing ever.
We also have a name puzzle and it's great. That's how Connor learned to spell his name. Now if we could just get the writing part down. He gets C and O and then the N's just get him so excited that it turns into mad scribbling.
